Super Easy Wreath Form

It seems like everywhere you turn on Pinterest, there is another cute wreath that someone has made.  I have several wreaths I want to make now!  Have you ever priced wreath forms at a craft store?

HOLY MOLY!!!  That was my first thought when I looked at them!  All the wreaths I am wanting to make are going to be very inexpensive or free to make.  So I don't want to spend tons of money on the part you aren't even going to see!

There are two great and cheap wreath forms I saw...one uses a pool noodle and duct tape, the other uses a foam tube from a home improvement store and duct tape.  Both are GREAT ideas!  But the other day I wanted to work on one and didn't have any of those items and couldn't run get them.  So I had to get creative...

Lately we have been buying several newspapers on Sundays to get the coupons.  I was messing with my son and rolled up some of the newspaper and was looking at him through the end of it.  I was folding and bending it, then all of a sudden I had an idea!

I went on the hunt to see if we had any kind of tape...the only kind I could find was clear packing tape, so I used it.  Here is what I got.

I laid the newspaper out and rolled it long-ways then brought it around attached it with the tape.  Then I wrapped tape all around it.

I was pretty pleased with it.  The wreath I am wanting to make doesn't have to be perfect, so this is perfect for what I wanted it for.  And the best part?  It was FREE!!! I love free!!

I am still working on the elements of this wreath, so that will come later!
